My name is Marian Ardeleanu. I'm born on 12th April 1980 in Bacau, Romania. I'm System Administrator with 10+ years of technical experience.

In 1998 I started a small company focused on IT services. Since that time I've been working in the areas of system administration, website development, and IT consulting. I'm highly devoted to task automation, keeping infrastructure manageable, highly available and scalable. I'm also developing tools (in php, shell, perl) to help with sysadmin tasks.

Since 2005 I've been working in environments where IT is critical for business and has to function 24x7 and where any downtime has a high penalty.

I am currently employed at Intralot BV in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), and working in the IT field as Tehnical Manager, supporting the operations of the two Dutch lotteries.
